MADISON, Wis. – Just shy of a half-billion dollars, the current Powerball jackpot is the eighth-highest in history. At $495 million, Saturday’s draw could produce the first winner of 2019.

MADISON, Wis. – While the historic Powerball jackpot rolled over Wednesday night, a pair of Wisconsin ticket holders each won $50,000 in the latest drawing. The winning tickets were purchased in Marathon and Washington counties.

The retired man from Viola (Richland/Vernon Counties), population 707, matched four-of-five numbers plus the Powerball in the Feb. 9 drawing.

MADISON, Wis. – A Sauk County man who won the Feb. 27 Badger 5 jackpot claimed his prize Wednesday in Madison. James Kummer of Reedsburg won $61,000 by matching all five numbers in last month’s drawing.
