HOW TO PLAY MEGA MILLIONS:
- Choose five different numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 24.
- Place wagers by asking for a QUICK PICK or by using the Mega Millions playslip. Playslips are available at Wisconsin Lottery retailers, or you may create a digital playslip on the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app.
- Choose how many draws to play. Each ticket costs $5 per play per draw. Mega Millions can be played up to 8 draws (4 weeks) in advance.
- Each play on a printed ticket will automatically receive a randomly generated Multiplier (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X) at the time of purchase, at no additional cost. A Multiplier will print next to each corresponding play on the ticket and will only apply to that same play. The Multiplier does NOT apply to the JACKPOT.
- Check playslip carefully before handing it to the retailer. MEGA MILLIONS TICKETS CANNOT BE CANCELLED.
- Give completed playslip and cash to the retailer.
- Receive, sign, and safeguard ticket. A ticket is needed to claim a prize. Playslips are not valid to claim a prize.
- For each play, all six selected numbers are printed on one line of the ticket with the Mega Ball number printed to the right, under the word “MEGA", followed by the Multiplier for that same play.
WIN MORE WITH THE BUILT-IN MULTIPLIER
- Each play will receive its own Multiplier (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X).
- The Multipliers are randomly assigned and will be printed next to each play purchased on the ticket.
- Because each play has its own (randomly generated) Multiplier, the same Multiplier may or may not appear multiple times on tickets with multiple plays. The Multipliers will increase winnings on all non-jackpot prizes. The Multiplier does NOT apply to the jackpot.
- If a play is purchased for multiple draws, the same Multiplier will apply to all draws (since it is printed on the ticket, with the play).
- The match 5 of 5 prize with the built-in Multiplier will range from $2 million (2X) up to $10 million (10X).
- There are no break-even prizes in this game. Because the lowest possible Multiplier is 2X, the lowest prize you can win is $10. In fact, just matching the Mega Ball in a play can win anywhere from $10 to $50, depending on the Multiplier for that winning play!

DRAW DAYS:
Drawings are Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday to be included in that day’s drawing.
JACKPOT amount is estimated. Mega Millions odds based on one play for $5. Prizes are approximately 50.0% of sales.
*The prize money allocated to the JACKPOT shall be equally divided by the number of plays correctly matching all 6 numbers. JACKPOT winner has 60 days from date of ticket validation to select either the annuity payment method of 30 annual installments or the cash option payment method. A cash option JACKPOT prize will be equal to the total cash held for the JACKPOT pool, which will be less than the estimated JACKPOT. JACKPOTS not won will be carried forward to the next drawing. Prizes up to $599 may be claimed at a Wisconsin Lottery retailer. Prizes $600 or more must be claimed in person at a Lottery office or by mail. Prizes $200,000 or more must be claimed at the Madison Validations office. Tickets, transactions, and winners are subject to state law and Lottery regulations. Must be at least 18 years old to buy. Prizes not claimed within 180 days after drawing are forfeited.
