$1 Million Winning Scratch Ticket Claimed by Cedarburg Man
First of three top prizes won in $30 game

MADISON, Wis. -- Ethan Tews of Cedarburg is having a good week. He won $1,000,000 from a Bankroll scratch ticket he purchased at Kwik Trip on 1421 Monroe St. in Madison. Tews claimed his winning ticket at the Wisconsin Lottery Madison office.

Bankroll is a Wisconsin Lottery $30 instant scratch ticket that debuted on August 2, 2024, with three top prizes of $1,000,000. Tews is the game's first top prize winner. 

The Bankroll scratch game offers 11 different prize levels from $30 to $1,000,000. Since its launch, Lottery retailers have sold several big, winning Bankroll tickets including $1,000,000 (Kwik Trip, Madison), $50,000 (Holland Town Minimart, Wautoma), $25,000 (Kwik Trip, West Bend) and $10,000 (Kwik Trip, West Allis).

Wisconsin retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000. For selling the winning Bankroll ticket, Kwik Trip will receive a $20,000 incentive.
