County Market in Hudson Sells $50,000 Powerball Ticket

Madison, WI -- A $50,000 Powerball winning ticket was sold in Hudson for the Saturday, November 4 drawing. The lucky ticket, which matched four of five winning numbers (1-28-30-34-52) plus the Powerball (6), was purchased at County Market on 2310 Crest View Dr.

"It feels good to sell a big, winning ticket," said County Market Store Director, Steve Troska.

Troska added, "It's great for our community and it gives some enjoyment for our players to know they have a shot at winning when they buy tickets from our store."

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com/winners/claim-prize. Players can also check their tickets by using the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Powerball's top prize is rising again. The estimated jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing is $196 million.

The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130 and the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338.

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for an additional dollar.
