Madison, Wis. -- The Wisconsin-only lotto game, Badger 5, is offering a bonus in September. Players who purchase a $5 or greater Badger 5 ticket will receive a "Bonus Ticket" for the next Badger 5 drawing. The limited time offer is available September 1-30.
Launched in 2003, the Badger 5 jackpot starts at $10,000 and grows with each drawing if the jackpot is not won. Drawings are held daily at 9 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in that day's drawing.
HOW TO PLAY
• Choose five different numbers from 1 to 31.
• Place wagers by asking for a quick pick or by using the Badger 5 playslip. Playslips are available at Wisconsin Lottery retailers.
• Choose how many draws to play. Each ticket costs $1 per play per draw. Badger 5 can be played up to seven draws
(seven days) in advance.
• Check playslip carefully before handing it to the retailer. Badger 5 tickets cannot be cancelled.
• Give completed playslip and cash to the retailer or on the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app.
• Receive, sign, and safeguard ticket. A ticket is needed to claim a prize. Playslips are not valid to claim a prize.
• Winning prizes may be claimed on tickets with additional prizes on them. An exchange ticket will be given to player
who are redeeming a prize on a ticket that has additional draws.
The odds of winning a Badger 5 jackpot are 1:169,911.
