Madison, Wis. -- Today, the limited-time, limited-quantity May Madness Raffle begins. The widely anticipated lotto game from the Wisconsin Lottery includes one top prize of $50,000. The raffle also features two $10,000 prizes and 815 additional prizes.
Seventy-five thousand (75,000) tickets are available at all Wisconsin Lottery retailers for $5 each. Often quick to sell out, tickets will be sold in numerical order starting with 00001. Tickets must be purchased before the May 31, 2024, drawing. Tickets are on sale through May 30, 2024, or until all 75,000 tickets are sold.
In 2023, the top prize-winning ticket in the previous May Madness Raffle was sold by a Kwik Trip location in Turtle Lake, population 1,042. It was the largest winning Lottery ticket the retailer had ever sold.
Winning numbers for the May Madness raffle will be available the evening of May 31, 2024, at wilottery.com/games/raffles and at Lottery retailers. Winning tickets can be redeemed after the drawing.
