Big wins in Milwaukee and Montello

SuperCash! and Powerball wins

Madison, Wis. -- It was a winning Wednesday in Wisconsin for a couple of players who bought SuperCash! and Powerball tickets for the March 27 drawings.

A winning $350,000 SuperCash! ticket was purchased at J.S. Singh Brother Inc. on 3451 N. 23rd St. in Milwaukee and a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Montello Mart on 128 Church St. in Montello.

The winning SuperCash! numbers were (2-14-15-17-23-26) while the winning Powerball ticket matched four of five numbers (37-46-57-60-66) plus the Powerball (8).

The Montello Mart Assistant Manager, Royce Warmowski, was thrilled to learn this morning that the store sold a large winning ticket.

"It's amazing," said Warmowski. "The winning customer came in this morning. We checked his ticket for him and then had him sign the back. It was exciting to hold a $50,000 winning ticket."

The estimated Powerball jackpot for Saturday's drawing has climbed to $935 million – the fifth largest jackpot in the game's history.

There has been no shortage of big Powerball wins in Wisconsin this year. Yesterday's $50,000 win marked the 11th winning Powerball ticket sold in the Badger State of $50,000 or more in 2024.

Across the United States, the results from Wednesday's Powerball drawing included 44 tickets that won a $50,000 prize and seven tickets that increased their winnings from $50,000 to $100,000 by including the Power Play feature for an additional $1 per play.

"Powerball, Mega Millions and Badger 5 are popular games for our Lottery customers, especially when the jackpots get really big" said Warmowski.

Saturday’s Powerball drawing will be the 38th drawing in the current jackpot run. Powerball’s longest stretch without a jackpot winner is 41 consecutive drawings, which has happened twice before:

o Nov. 7, 2022 - $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot
o Oct. 4, 2021 - $699.8 million Powerball jackpot

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com/winners/claim-prize. Players can also check their tickets using the Wisconsin Lottery mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for $1.

The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338.

SuperCash! is a Wisconsin-only lotto game, hosting daily drawings seven days a week. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in that day's drawing. SuperCash! offers two plays for $1 and has a doubler feature at no cost.

The odds of winning the $350,000 SuperCash! top prize are 1:1,631,312.
