MADISON, Wis. -- To say Powerball is on a roll in Wisconsin is an understatement this week. A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was purchased at Superior Discount Liquor on 4355 Calumet Ave. in Manitowoc for the Wednesday, April 30, 2025, drawing. The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (1-2-3-57-59) plus the Powerball (9). Including Wednesday's big win, Wisconsin retailers have sold winning $50,000 tickets for three consecutive Powerball drawings.
For the Monday, April 28 drawing, a $50,000 winning ticket was sold by Kwik Trip on 305 Elkhorn Rd. in Whitewater and for the Saturday, April 26 drawing, a winning $50,000 ticket was sold by Kwik Trip on 907 E. Inman Parkway in Beloit.
In 2025, there have been a total of 10 $50,000 Powerball winners in Wisconsin so far.
The estimated Powerball jackpot for the Saturday, May 3 drawing is $44 million.
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also check to see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.
Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for an additional $1.
The odds to win the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338 while the odds to win a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130.
