LUCKY WORD CROSSWORD
(Instant Scratch Game # 2702)
- The theme and name of the game: LUCKY WORD CROSSWORD. Scratch YOUR 20 LETTERS box to reveal your 20 letters. In each PUZZLE, scratch only the letters that match those in the YOUR 20 LETTERS box. Scratch each of the "CLOVER" symbols in PUZZLE 1 and PUZZLE 2. Each "CLOVER" symbol is a free match and counts as a matched letter in that WORD. In each PUZZLE, if you reveal three or more complete WORDS, win prize indicated in the PRIZE LEGEND for that same PUZZLE. If you win in a PUZZLE and any one of the completely uncovered WORDS in that winning PUZZLE has a "CLOVER" symbol in the word, win DOUBLE the prize shown in the corresponding PRIZE LEGEND for that same winning play.
Scratch the BONUS LUCKY WORD area to reveal your BONUS LUCKY WORD. If the entire word in the BONUS LUCKY WORD area exactly matches one of the words in either PUZZLE, win the BONUS LUCKY WORD PRIZE. For example, if the word "SMILE" appears in both the PUZZLE 1 and in the BONUS LUCKY WORD area, you would win the BONUS LUCKY WORD PRIZE.
Each PUZZLE and the BONUS LUCKY WORD are played separately. Only the highest prize won in each PUZZLE will be paid. The BONUS LUCKY WORD cannot be combined with PUZZLE words when claiming a prize with the PRIZE LEGEND. - The price of tickets: Ten dollars ($10.00), or as otherwise set by the Administrator.
The prize structure including the number and value of prizes and the odds on each prize are as follows:
PRIZE AMOUNT APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF PRIZES ODDS OF WINNING $10 200,000 1:7 $20 60,000 1:21 $25 20,000 1:61 $30 40,000 1:31 $40 24,000 1:50 $50 20,120 1:60 $60 16,000 1:75 $100 3,360 1:358 $200 25 1:48,000 $1,000 3 1:400,000 $10,000 3 1:400,000 $100,000 2 1:600,000 Odds and prize statements are based on initial game prize structure and may vary over the life of the game.
- The frequency of drawings: There are no drawings in the LUCKY WORD CROSSWORD game.
- The method of selecting winners: There are two (2) crossword PUZZLES and one (1) BONUS LUCKY WORD play area on each LUCKY WORD CROSSWORD ticket. Each PUZZLE and the BONUS LUCKY WORD are played separately.
The holder of a ticket where the letters in the uncovered YOUR 20 LETTERS play area match the letters in PUZZLE 1 to complete three (3) or more complete WORDS shall win the prize shown in the PUZZLE 1 PRIZE LEGEND for that same number of complete WORDS. The holder of a ticket where the letters in the uncovered YOUR 20 LETTERS play area match the letters in PUZZLE 1 to complete three (3) or more complete WORDS, and where one (1) of those completed WORDS has a "CLOVER" symbol imaged in place of one (1) of the letter spots within that WORD, shall win two (2) times the prize amount shown in the PUZZLE 1 PRIZE LEGEND for that same number of complete WORDS.
The holder of a ticket where the letters in the uncovered YOUR 20 LETTERS play area match the letters in PUZZLE 2 to complete three (3) or more complete WORDS shall win the prize shown in the PUZZLE 2 PRIZE LEGEND for that same number of complete WORDS. The holder of a ticket where the letters in the uncovered YOUR 20 LETTERS play area match the letters in PUZZLE 2 to complete three (3) or more complete WORDS, and where one (1) of those completed WORDS has a "CLOVER" play symbol imaged in place of one (1) of the letter spots within that WORD, shall win two (2) times the prize amount shown in the PUZZLE 2 PRIZE LEGEND for that same number of complete WORDS.
The holder of a ticket where the BONUS LUCKY WORD in the uncovered BONUS LUCKY WORD play area exactly matches one (1) of the WORDS in the crossword PUZZLE 1 or crossword PUZZLE 2 shall win the prize shown in the uncovered BONUS LUCKY WORD PRIZE play spot.
The possible complete WORDS on the ticket will be shown in the PUZZLES. Each possible complete WORD consists of three (3) or more letters and fills a complete word space. Letters in each PUZZLE combined to form a complete WORD must appear in a continuous horizontal (from left to right) or vertical (from top to bottom) sequence in a word space on that same PUZZLE and must completely fill that word space. A word within a complete WORD, such as “cab” within “CABIN,” is not a complete WORD, since it does not completely fill the word space.
Letters forming a word filling a complete word space can only be used to form one (1) complete WORD (e.g., – "base" and "ball" within "BASEBALL" are considered only one complete word). Complete WORDS cannot be formed in either PUZZLE by linking letters diagonally, or by reading the letters from right to left or bottom to top.
The YOUR 20 LETTERS play area must contain all of the letters in a possible complete WORD in order to form that WORD.
Each "CLOVER" symbol within PUZZLE 1 and PUZZLE 2 is a free match and counts as a matched letter in that possible complete WORD. However, the "CLOVER" symbol is not a letter and does not affect any other letters elsewhere in a PUZZLE; for example, if the "CLOVER" symbol replaces the single letter "A" in a WORD within a PUZZLE, it does not count toward any other instances of the letter "A" in that same WORD or in any other WORD within a PUZZLE.
A winning PUZZLE 1 can win only the highest prize shown in the PUZZLE 1 PRIZE LEGEND for that same winning pattern in PUZZLE 1, as previously described in these Features and Procedures; or, if a "CLOVER" play symbol is imaged in place of one (1) of the letter spots within one (1) of the completed WORDS in PUZZLE 1 as previously described in these Features and Procedures two (2) times the highest prize shown in the PUZZLE 1 PRIZE LEGEND for that same winning pattern.
A winning PUZZLE 2 can win only the highest prize shown in the PUZZLE 2 PRIZE LEGEND for that same winning pattern in PUZZLE 2, as previously described in these Features and Procedures; or, if a "CLOVER" play symbol is imaged in place of one (1) of the letter spots within one (1) of the completed WORDS in PUZZLE 2 as previously described in these Features and Procedures) two (2) times the highest prize shown in the PUZZLE 2 PRIZE LEGEND for that same winning pattern.
A winning BONUS LUCKY WORD must contain the same letters in the same sequence and fill the exact same word space length as a WORD in the crossword PUZZLE, as previously described in these Features and Procedures.
Each PUZZLE and the BONUS LUCKY WORD are played separately. The BONUS LUCKY WORD cannot be used toward the number of complete WORDS needed to win the prize shown in the PRIZE LEGEND. The letters comprising the BONUS LUCKY WORD cannot be used as YOUR 20 LETTERS to win a prize in the PRIZE LEGENDS (i.e., the letters cannot be used to reveal letters in a PUZZLE in order to win a prize in the PRIZE LEGENDS).
The multiplier symbol applies to the prize won and not to the number of matched WORDS (e.g., – if PUZZLE 1 has three complete WORDS and one of those WORDS includes a "CLOVER" symbol in the word as previously described in these Features and Procedures, the prize for that PUZZLE would be twenty dollars ($10 multiplied by 2 = $20)).
A DOUBLER won in one (1) PUZZLE does not apply to any prize won in another PUZZLE or with the BONUS LUCKY WORD.
