MADISON, Wis. -- For a customer of Kwik Trip on 2006 N. Spring St. in Beaver Dam, a $5 raffle ticket purchase has turned into $125,000, just in time for the holidays. The Wisconsin Lottery retailer sold the $125,000 top prize-winning ticket, number 083925, in the 2024 Holly Jolly Raffle Lotto game. The winning number was drawn on December 9, 2024, along with winning numbers for the 1,828 other cash prizes within the game.
This isn't the first time a big winning ticket has been purchased from the Beaver Dam Kwik Trip. Since 2019, the Wisconsin Lottery retailer has sold winning $45,000 and $500,000 scratch tickets and a winning $10,000 Mega Millions ticket.
A popular limited time, limited quantity Lotto game, the Holly Jolly Raffle launched on October 25, 2024, and sold out 150,000 available tickets on November 29, 2024.
In addition to the top prize-winner, 78 tickets of $1,000 and 1,750 tickets of $100 were also drawn. Players can check their numbers at any Lottery retailer or by going to wilottery.com/games/raffles. Winning numbers can also be checked on the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.
Winners at all prize levels have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. All winning tickets can be claimed by mail or in person at the Madison or Milwaukee offices. $100 prize winners can be claimed at any Wisconsin Lottery retailer.
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning lotto or scratch tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive.
