MADISON, Wis. -- While someone in neighboring Illinois won the jackpot last night, two winning $50,000 Powerball tickets were sold in Wisconsin at Pick N Save on 36903 E. Wisconsin Ave. in Oconomowoc and at Get & Go, LLC on 402 Holmen Dr. in Holmen for the August 12, 2026, drawing. Both tickets matched four of five numbers (4-26-66-67-69) and the Powerball (9).

Powerball.com indicated that 91 winning tickets of $50,000 or more were sold in the United States for the August 12 drawing. Powerball offers nine different prize levels. In Wisconsin, 55,647 tickets won prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000.

Including Wednesday's Powerball winners, five winning $50,000 tickets and one $1,000,000 ticket have been purchased in Wisconsin since August 3.

For Get & Go, LLC, the $50,000 win is the largest winning Lotto ticket the Lottery retailer has ever sold. In the past, Get & Go, LLC has sold its share of winning scratch tickets including winning tickets of $500,000, $50,000, $20,000, and $10,000.

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two-percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available at the App Store or Google Play.

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for an additional $1.

The odds to win the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338 while the odds to win a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130. To win a $4 Powerball prize, the odds are either 1:92 or 1:39, depending on the individual play.
