MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Lottery is bringing the convenience of prize claiming to Wausau.
August 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Wisconsin Lottery Winner Wagon will be at the Walmart parking lot on 226100 Rib Mountain Dr. in Wausau for its first-ever mobile validations event.
Lottery players can stop by the Winner Wagon (mobile validations unit) with their winning tickets to claim their Lottery prizes in person, up to $200,000. All prize payments will be made via check only. Winner checks can be cashed at any US Bank location or the player's preferred cashing method.
new asset for the Wisconsin Lottery, when not being used for special events, the Lottery plans to have the Winner Wagon travel around the state to provide an additional option for Lottery winners to claim their prizes if they are unable to make it to the Madison or Milwaukee offices.

As always, Wisconsin Lottery players can also redeem their winning tickets in the following ways:
• Lottery retailers will cash tickets up to $599 (or the amount that is allowed by the retailer's normal cashing practices).
• Winning tickets $600 to $199,999 need to be claimed in person at the Lottery offices in Madison or Milwaukee.
• Winning tickets over $200,000 can only be claimed at the Lottery office in Madison.
Winning tickets of $199,999 or less can also be redeemed via mail by sending in the winning ticket and a winner claim form to:
