BAdger 5 in Marinette, Burlington, Whitehall

MADISON, Wis. -- February has been a good month for Badger 5 players. On Tuesday, a $129,999 Badger 5 jackpot was split between winning tickets sold at Kwik Trip, 36281 Main St. in Whitehall, Rice's Liquor, 681 Milwaukee Ave. in Burlington, and Jack's Fresh Market, 1507 Cleveland Ave. in Marinette for the February 25, 2025, drawing. The winning numbers were 1-5-17-19-21. The winners from each ticket will receive $43,333.

Last night's win marks the fifth Badger 5 jackpot of $100,000 or more won in the last seven weeks and sixth winning Badger 5 jackpot sold in February.

Jack's Fresh Market co-owner, Kathleen Ziminski, was thrilled to learn about her store's good fortune.

"This is awesome. It's exciting for our community," she said. "This win is a great opportunity for someone in the area."

Ziminski added that "selling a winning ticket helps with future business." Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

All three Wisconsin Lottery retailers have sold large winning tickets in the past. Players from the Whitehall Kwik Trip have won $10,000 and $100,000 on scratch tickets, while Rice's Liquor ($50,000 Powerball) and Jack's Fresh Market ($100,000 All or Nothing) have each sold a big Lotto winner in recent years.

Tuesday's Badger 5 winners have 180 days to claim their prizes from the official draw date. More information on how to claim a winning Lottery ticket can be viewed on wilottery.com. Players can also check to see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.

A Wisconsin-only game, Badger 5 is drawn daily after 9 p.m. The odds of winning the Badger 5 jackpot are 1:169,911. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in that day's drawing.

The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130. The odds of winning a $100,000 All or Nothing prize are 1:352,716.
