Winning $154,000 Badger 5 Ticket Sold in Middleton

MADISON, Wis. -- For the second time in seven days a winning Badger 5 jackpot ticket was sold in Wisconsin. The most recent win came on Friday, May 9, 2025, when a winning $154,000 Badger 5 ticket was sold at Cenex C Store on 7515 University Ave. in Middleton. The winning numbers were 1-8-21-22-25.

Badger 5 jackpot wins have been piling up in recent weeks. Friday's big win comes on the heels of a winning $88,000 Badger 5 jackpot ticket, sold at Random Lake Mini Mart for the May 2 drawing.

In April, six Badger 5 jackpots were won and since the start of 2025, there have been 30 winning Badger 5 jackpot tickets drawn, with nine jackpots exceeding $100,000. 

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also check to see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.

Badger 5 is a Wisconsin-only Lotto game, drawn daily after 9 p.m. The odds of winning the Badger 5 jackpot are 1:169,911. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in that day's drawing.
