MADISON, Wis. -- Hansen's BP on 414 W. Johnson St. in Fond du Lac has a history of selling big winning Lottery tickets and this weekend, the trend continued. A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold by the Lottery retailer for the January 4, 2025, drawing.

The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (26-32-43-54-56) and the Powerball (24).

Located near the "Miracle Mile," a stretch of Fond Du Lac Lottery retailers along South Main Street that have sold several big-time winning Lottery tickets in the past, Hansen's BP has an impressive list of large wins in the last seven years including:

• $50,000 Powerball, January 2025
• (3) Badger 5 Jackpots: $72,000, September 2023; $10,000, November 2023, $12,000 December 2017
• (2) $350,000 SuperCash!: May 2023 and May 2017
• $1,000,000 Powerball, February 2020
• $100,000 Scratch Ticket, February 2018

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two-percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available at the App Store or Google Play.

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for an additional $1.

The estimated jackpot for tonight's Powerball drawing is $220 million.

The odds to win the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338. The odds to win a $1,000,000 Powerball prize are 1:11,688,054, while the odds to win a $50,000 prize are 1:913,130.

The odds to win a Badger 5 jackpot are 1:169,911. The odds to win the $350,000 SuperCash! top prize are 1:1,631,312.
