Winning in Waupaca
Wisconsin’s lucky streak continues with third $50,000 Powerball win this week

WPG

MADISON, Wis. -- For the third time this week, a winning $50,000 Powerball play was sold in the Badger State! Waupaca BP, located at 1116 W Fulton St. in Waupaca, sold the winning ticket for the Wednesday, October 7, 2026, drawing.

The lucky ticket matched four of five numbers (11-13-14-21-65) plus the Powerball (19).

Wisconsin is officially riding a Powerball hot streak. This week's three $50,000 wins follow a $150,000 winning Powerball ticket that was purchased at Ali Petroleum in Milwaukee for the September 29, 2026, drawing.

Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also check to see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.

Because no one hit the grand prize on Wednesday, the Powerball jackpot is continuing to skyrocket. The estimated jackpot for the upcoming Saturday drawing is a staggering $516 million!

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play.

The odds to win the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338 while the odds to win a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130. With the $1 Power Play option, the odds of a 3X multiplier being drawn for the Monday, September 29, 2026, drawing were 1:3.3.
